Q) What is “parking”, and can I “park” my domain
name with you?
A) Parking simply means registering a
name and doing nothing with it, and yes, you can “park” your domain
with us for free.
Q) Are the terms "parking page", "under
construction", and "welcome" page the same thing?
A) Yes, these terms mean the same
thing. At Active-Domain, we use the term "parking page".
Q) How do I park my domain?
A) First, register your domain name.
After the initial 24 hour waiting period following the registration,
our software will automatically set up your free "parking"
page with the IP address of 203.142.19.81. This page cannot be
uploaded to or ftp'd to for any reason.
Q) Can I upload my own home page to your
server?
A) No. We do not provide any web space for your domain and our
parking page is automatically configured. It can't be changed or
replaced by your own home page.
Q) I have accidentally changed the parking
page address, how do I point my domain to it again?
A) You can reset your domain to point to our parking page by
configuring your domain as follows:
